LIP BLUSH STAFFORDSHIRE

Lip Blush near Stoke-on-Trent & Stafford, Staffordshire

Over time our lips can lose fullness and the pigmentation that defines our lip line can fade, or even disappear. By adding colour and definition lip blushing is the ideal way to achieve fuller looking lips, making the lip tattoo a fantastic alternative to lip fillers. The colour will look bold initially, but once healed it fades to give a soft, flush of colour to naturally define the lips. No more constantly reapplying your lipstick, all you need is some clear gloss or balm and you’re good to go.

WHAT OUR CLIENTS HAVE TO SAY

Permanent Lip Cost & Information

LIP BLUSH

165 MINUTES £290

This permanent lip treatment is designed to mimic the effects of your favourite lipstick to give you fuller, more defined lips. Shading can be carefully applied to contour the lips and help give a plumper appearance overall. There are a range of pigments to choose from depending on your personal style and skin tone, but we recommended choosing something similar to your everyday lip colour.

LIP LINE

90 MINUTES £230

We love this treatment as a super natural enhancement, and would recommend it for clients who simply want to add definition in a colour that matches their natural lips. We can fill in any areas where your natural pigment has faded to create a more defined, yet still natural-looking lip line.

ANNUAL TOP UPS/COLOUR BOOSTS

6 - 17 MONTH COLOUR BOOST £150

18 - 24 MONTH COLOUR BOOST £195

The pigments we use in your lip blush treatment are designed to fade over time, this allows us to create soft, natural results. As such top ups will be required periodically to maintain your results.

Typically your results could last anywhere up to 2 years, depending on a few factors such as your skin type, lifestyle and aftercare. We recommend you return after 12-18 months for a colour boost to keep your lip blush looking its best. Colour boost prices are reserved for our existing clients only.

About Permanent Lipstick

WHAT IS LIP BLUSH?

Lip blushing, also known as lip tattoo or permanent lipstick, is a cosmetic treatment that involves gently implanting pigment into the upper layers of the lip tissue. The treatment can be used to create a more defined lip line, and add a flush of colour to the lips as a way of replacing the daily need to apply lip liner or lipstick. This treatment is perfect for those who want to correct loss of colour, add definition, and rejuvenate the lip border. For those with darker or hyper-pigmented lips, lip neutralisation can be used to balance cool undertones and achieve pinker lips.

Questions About Permanent Lips

LIP BLUSH TREATMENT FAQs

  • Every effort is taken to ensure that you are as comfortable as possible throughout your treatment. Some tenderness is to be expected after the treatment so be cautious of hot drinks and spicy or salty foods. You are welcome to use a soft gel ice pack to soothe and soreness and swelling post treatment - please make sure that it is thoroughly cleaned before using.

  • A range of effects can be achieved with lip blush, wether you prefer something natural and understated, or something bright and bold. To achieve a natural result we recommend choosing a colour that has similar hue/undertones to your natural lip colour.

  • We have a range of colours available, ranging from very natural shades to something more bold. We advise you opt for something similar to your go-to everyday lip colour.

  • We cannot perform the treatment if you have an active cold sore, once this is fully healed it is safe to go ahead. If you have had a cold sore before (even if it was once many years ago) you will need to take a course of anti-cold sore meds before your treatment to prevent an outbreak.

  • Of course, as long as it has been over two weeks since you had your filler done then you are perfectly safe to get your lip tattoo - actually the two lip treatments go together really well!

  • We only work on the lip tissue, however sometimes we loose pigment at the border of our lips which can make our lips appear smaller. By replacing that lost pigment it can help your lips to appear fuller. The only time we would ever work outside of the lip tissue and onto the normal skin is when performing cleft lip reconstruction, or if you are someone who has severe asymmetry.

  • Absolutely! I recommend you opt for a natural colour when it comes to your lip blush, this will give you a beautiful base lip colour for every day wear. If you fancy something brighter or more bold, you always have the option of wearing regular lipstick on top of your lip blush.

  • For clients who have hyperpigmentation or melanin rich lips, we typically advise lip neutralisation which involves implanting a carefully selected colour to counteract any cool tones in the lips. For example, lips with a purple undertone would benefit from a yellow based pigment, whereas blue undertones would suit an orange based pigment. Once the cool tones have been lifted, other colours can be introduced to achieve a pinker lip.

Lip neutralisation typically requires more sessions and a longer healing time as the colour of the lip can continue to change for 8-10 weeks following the treatment.

  • I usually allow 2.5 hours for a lip blush appointment, this includes time for us to discuss your goals, select a colour, map your lip shape and finally carry out the treatment. After 5/6 weeks you'll return for a top up where we can assess how you healed and make any tweaks to the colour if necessary - this usually takes about 1.5 hours.

  • Yes, the healing process usually takes 10-14 days for most people. Initially the colour will be bold, and the lips may swell and feel tender. After a few days they will begin to feel dry and the skin will peel. You'll be given aftercare products to use whilst you heal which will help alleviate the dryness. It's important you don't apply any makeup, lips balm, gloss, vaseline or other products to the area as this could cause an infection.
