Everyone feels the treatment differently, you may experience a minor tingling sensation but topical numbing cream can be used before your treatment to minimise this.

You could begin to see a change in your skin in as little as 2 weeks. Depending on the skin concern you are trying to treat, some conditions may take multiple sessions to achieve the desired result.

As we cannot stop the ageing process the results from microneedling are not considered permanent, but you can maintain your results through regular treatments and a good at home skincare routine.

Following your treatment its normal for the skin to be pink/red - it can look and feel similar to sunburn. This usually lasts 24-72 hours.

This will depend on the skin concern to be treated and your individual response to the treatment, typically between 3-6 sessions are advised every 4-6 weeks. After that you can maintain your results with a treatment once or twice a year.

Yes, there are a few people who aren't suitable for microneedling, including those who:

• Are currently taking or have taken roaccutane in the last 6 months

• Are pregnant or breastfeeding

• Have any open cuts or abrasions at the treatment area

• Have a history of keloid scar or poor healing

• Are undergoing cancer treatments

• Have any active skin infections, acne or chronic skin conditions at the treatment site

There are many clinical studies that prove micneeedling to be a very effective treatment for a variety of skin concerns. Regular microneedling treatments can thicken skin, improve scars and reduce wrinkles.

• Avoid using any products containing retinol/Vitamin A, benzoyl peroxide or other exfoliating products for one week

• Please avoid the use of sunbeds for one week before your appointment. We cannot treat skin that is sunburned

• Avoid chemical peels, injectables, IPL or other similar treatments for two weeks before your appointment

• Some clients experience pinpoint bleeding during their treatment, this is normal

• Your skin will appear red/pink for up to 72 hours post treatment, it will look and feel very similar to sunburn

• You may experience some dryness/flaking/peeling of the skin, this is normal

• Do not wear makeup for 24/48 hours following your treatment

• Avoid heavy, strenuous activities, sun exposure, saunas, steam rooms & heat exposure for at least 24 hours after your treatment

• Use gentle products only for the week following your treatment, no exfoliators/retinol/Vitamin A/acids for 5-7 days. Cleanser, moisturiser and SPF is all you need.
