HENNA BROWS FAQ

What’s the difference between henna brows and regular tint?

Henna consists of more natural ingredients compared to regular tint, and stains both the skin and the hair where regular tint would just stain the hair. For this reason it’s suitable for those who have lots of brow hair and those who have very little, as the skin stain allows us to create a whole new shape. Henna Lasts up to 2 weeks on the skin and up to 6 weeks on the hairs, whereas regular tint would stain the skin for a few days and the hairs up to 4 weeks.

What do the results of henna brows look like?

The Henna will stain the skin and all brow hairs, even the fine ones, to create a fuller, more defined brow. Your new brows will be darker at the tails and fade out to give a soft ombre finish in the middle. The results look similar to brow powder or pencil.

Will you shape the brows exactly how I draw them on?

That depends - of course Maisie will take into consideration your preferred shape, but she will most likely make some adjustments to create a better, more flattering shape. Your brows will be carefully measured and mapped, and we do advise that you listen to Maisie’s recommendations if she thinks a new shape would suit you more.

How long do henna brows last?

Depending on skin type and aftercare, Henna Brows can last up to 2 weeks on the skin and up to 6 weeks on the hair.

How often can you get henna brows done?

To maintain your beautiful Henna Brows, we recommend getting the treatment every 5-6 weeks.

How do I care for my new henna brows?

For 24hs following your treatment we advise you to avoid excessive heat, swimming, steam rooms, saunas, excessive exercise, friction to the brow area, and avoid the use of skincare with active ingredients (such as acids, Vitamin A/retinol). Avoid the use of sunbeds as this will cause the pigment to fade quicker.
