FACE CONCERNS

Dark Circles / Hollow Under-Eyes

Dark circles can be caused by many things such as genetics, sun damage, hyperpigmentation, or thinning skin which makes the blood vessels underneath more apparent. Hollow under eyes are often caused by loss of volume in the tear trough area. Dermal filler can be placed in the tear trough to replace lost volume and, in some cases can improve dark circles (depending on the cause) to give you a more refreshed and well-rested look.

Double Chin

Excess pockets of fat in the chin area can negatively impact your self-image and affect the contours of your jaw and lower face. This can be caused by genetics, hormones, ageing or weight gain, and is notoriously hard to get rid of through a healthy diet and exercise alone. We offer fat dissolving injections which help to break down this pocket of fat leaving you with a more defined lower face.

Lines & Wrinkles

As we age lines and wrinkles become more visible, and the loss of collagen and elastin in the skin makes it more difficult for our skin to snap back into place. There are a multitude of ways to improve the appearance of wrinkles, and fight the signs of ageing. Fine lines and skin laxity often respond well to skin treatments such as microneedling, whereas deep set lines and wrinkles may be best tackled through anti-wrinkle injections or dermal filler. Maisie can discuss which treatments would be best suited to you at a consultation.

Loss of Volume

As we age our skin thins, bone structure deteriorates and we experience volume loss which can be a real age giveaway - one of the first and most noticeable places to experience this loss is at the cheeks. Our dermal filler and skin booster treatments can give youthful structure and contouring to the face by restoring the natural loss of volume, and can plump the skin to achieve a more refreshed and rejuvenated appearance.

Weak Chin / Jaw

A weak or dimpled chin, often caused by genetics or injury, can negatively impact a person’s self-confidence and self-image. By contouring the chin and jaw through careful application of dermal filler, we can create a more balanced chin that strengthens the jawline, achieves a more attractive side-profile and can disguise any unwanted dimples.

Thankfully there are many treatment options to rectify thinning brows, whether you’re after something low maintenance and long lasting like microblading, or one of our other brow treatments. Pale Lips

It's common for us to lose the colour and definition in our lips, whether that's from scarring caused by cold sores, genetics, sun damage, or through the natural ageing process. This loss of definition to our lip border can also make our lips appear smaller.  Lip blush is a great option to bring fullness and definition, achieving natural looking and long lasting results.

Thin Lips

Thinning lips, typically caused by ageing, genetics or other lifestyle factors, can be easily treated with lip filler. At Skn Plus we specialise in creating natural results to enhance your lips, bringing plumpness and definition to reverse the signs of ageing. If you desire to have more voluptuous lips, dermal filler is the ideal treatment to enhance your look.

Teeth Grinding / Jaw Slimming

Wrinkle relaxing injections are a very effective way to achieve a slimmer jawline. By de-bulking the masseter muscle that causes the wide jaw, we can contour and slim the lower face for a more feminine jawline. When this muscle is injected, it relaxes and reduces the strength in the jaw which can ease teeth grinding and clenching, often caused by stress.

Jowls

Jowls is a term used to describe sagging skin at the jawline which often develops through the ageing process, however things such as smoking, sun damage and weight loss can make them more apparent. In more severe cases, surgical neck lift would be a good option, but many can see a great reduction in the appearance of jowls through carefully placed dermal filler in the chin and jawline. This helps to rebuild and redefine the jawline, concealing the jowl area and achieving a more youthful look overall.
